For me the main joy lies in seeing the enjoyment that they give my dogs and how the skills and concepts translate into other areas of their lives. There are so many different sports available today that it is difficult not to find one to suit you and your dog. Most disciplines have a main organising body and this is a good place to start to find a local club or trainer if you want to give something a go

The fastest growing dog sport in the country perfect for all ages and handler abilities. Hoopers is best described as a giant croquet course that you direct your dog around
Agility
Starting in the 1970’s to entertain the crowds between the proper business of dog showing and obedience at Crufts the sport continues to go from strength to strength
Parkour

Canicross
If you want a high energy outdoor all weather sport for you and your dog to enjoy together then this is for
Flyball
You and your dog work within a team and must be over 18months old to compete to ensure dogs are fully developed
Trailing
Differing from scent work in that trailing asks you and your dog to follow a trail left to locate the prize
Rally Obedience
Dog and handler work as a team to complete a course made up of signs describing specific obedience exercises to perform
Disc Dog
Excellent for high energy dogs and owners you throw the disc and the dog catches this is a competitive sport
